Sweet Potato Creamy Au Gratin

This delectable yet sweet au gratin perfect for the holiday season - or anytime you're looking looking for a creamy sweet fix!
3 large sweet potatoes
2.5 cups heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In an oven proof dish, whisk together the cream, garlic, nutmeg, and salt. Layer the sliced sweet potatoes in the cream. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and cooked through. Remove the pan from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes prior to serving.
