Since 1985 we have grown a network of skilled operators, who have been of tremendous value for Black Gold Farms customers. Today we have a fully staffed, dedicated transportation department that is available to go the extra mile 24/7/365. This team is focused on ensuring product gets to where it needs to be safely, on time and with no damage.

Black Gold Farms owns and operates five packing facilities. Each facility is an integral part in our fresh potato business. There is a year-round facility in Arbyrd, Mo. and seasonal facilities in Pearsall, Texas, East Grand Forks, Minn. and Camden, N.C., as well as a year-round sweet potato packing facility in Delhi, La.
These facilities are located on, or near the farm property, and work parallel with the farm team. The product they take in from the field is washed, graded, packed, stacked and stored before shipping. Each facility has poly and paper bag capabilities, as well as totes, bulk and other value-added packaging as requested by customers.

Land partners are valued members of our Black Gold family. Implementing potatoes in rotation is a great way we have found for land partners to create value. We pay a fair price to rent the land and pay in a timely manner. We believe that long-term relationships founded on trust and reliability will result in ongoing success and profitability for Black Gold Farms and all of our business partners. We take our responsibility to be good stewards of the land very seriously.
