Our Delhi sweet potato operation is the largest in Louisiana. Strategic processor partnerships allow us to focus on delivering only the best sweet potato quality.

We will be upgrading our wash and pack facility with state-of-the-art technology in Q1 of 2025. Our abilities to size and grade will be top of market.

Black Gold Farms operates a sister company, Horizon Logistics, as the trucking and supply chain arm of the organization.
Formed in August of 2019, we have assets based across the eastern US with equipment and expertise specific to hauling produce.
Our drivers are screened and trained to understand distribution center operations to make delivery as smooth as possible.
We have developed dedicated freight relationships with owner/operators who serve as an extension to our own fleet of drivers.
We have expertise in managing surge demand. Every summer our volume spikes to over 125 loads of potatoes every day. There are times where we will have 300 loads in transit.
Ownership of trucking assets helps insulate us from wild freight market swings.
Sales Staff
Our sales staff has a diverse background of experience, from logistics oversight to packing warehouse management. Our understanding of the field to fork cycle gives us the experience to avoid supply chain challenges.
